Compact Dice Tower / Dice Storage

Compact Dice Tower / Dice Storage

thingiverse

I designed a functional Dice Tower / Dice Storage in Fusion360, aiming for compactness without sacrificing usability. A small recess is provided to insert a 5x1mm magnet, ensuring the lid remains closed. However, my initial print had tight tolerances, making it difficult to open and close without the magnets. Repeated use will eventually loosen it up. To enhance the mechanism, I sanded the holes on the case side and added graphite powder for smoother operation. I printed the outer shell with its front side facing upwards, a straightforward process. Meanwhile, the chute was printed with the magnet hole facing upwards, and internal 90-degree supports were used to facilitate easier removal of the supports using pliers.
