Compact Bowden Extruder with HexNut Filament Holder
thingiverse
A reworked version of the Compact Bowden Extruder has been created by combining proven designs. Specifically, this remix incorporates a critical change: replacing the push-fit pneumatic connector used in most RepRap extruders with an M4 hex nut. Although based on tried-and-true concepts, it's essential to note that thorough testing of this design in actual production environments is yet to occur. The assembly process involves materials identical to those required for the Compact Bowden Extruder, with one exception - the replacement pneumatic connector with a crucial addition: an M4 hexnut. This modified piece must be meticulously screwed onto a teflon tube intended for 1.75mm filament, carefully crafted into a thread that securely screws into the holding hexnut within this extruder unit. Requirements include precise attention to materials listed above and strict adherence to correct screwing patterns of both modified components.
