I'm really satisfied with how well the original extruder has been working for me. I've been using it in conjunction with an E3D Hobb Goblin, and it's printing flawlessly. The TPU is also turning out great with this design, especially since I'm using Sainsmart TPU. To get the best results, I strongly advise printing the idler with a high infill percentage (at least 80%) as well as adding supports in the middle section of the main body where it touches the buildplate. Some significant changes have been made to this design: - M6 threads for pushfit couplers have been added - An M4 thread has been incorporated into the idler to secure a 608 bearing, and I recommend using a washer as well - Various holes have been adjusted (it's a good idea to use a drill afterwards to clean them, especially the filament path which is 2mm) - The M3 nut trap for the idler arm in the main body has been revised - Obviously, the IR-Gate was removed since I don't utilize it Edit 1: - A support piece has been added to the main body, although it still requires supports from the buildplate.
