Our mailbox has been repeatedly targeted by burglars, prompting me to develop these security measures to deter them. I created several deterrents to slow down these intruders or at least make them look elsewhere. The mailboxes feature multiple lock bezels on the outside and at least two different styles of lock bodies inside. This combination has proven effective in preventing break-ins over the past year. To manufacture these parts, print with PETG using 50% infill for enhanced temperature resistance and sturdiness. Lockramp1 is designed to be glued around the lock bezel to make it difficult to grasp the part with a set of Vise-Grips. I used E-6000 glue to secure it in place. Lockbody is intended to fit over the lock from the inside, engaging the rib of the tumbler cylinder and wedging against the inner edge of the door to prevent rotation.
