Our mailbox kept getting broken into, so I created these deterrents to slow the boneheads down (or at least make them look elsewhere)

Our mailboxes have several different lock bezels on the outside, and at least two different styles of lock bodies on the inside.
So far this has been working well for the past year

Print using PETG with 50% infill for temperature resistance & sturdiness.

Lockramp1 - is meant to be glued around the lock bezel to make it harder to grab the part with a set of visegrips. I used E-6000 glue to hold our in place.

Lockbody - is designed to fit over the lock on the inside & engage the rib of the tumbler cylinder & wedge against the inner edge of the door to prevent rotation.

Print instructions

Category: DIY Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK2.5

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: .2mm layer

Infill: 50%

Filament: Inland PETG any
