Community Face Mask Clasp
thingiverse
I needed a clasp for a homemade community face mask. The cord I used is not flexible or elastic. To fix it behind my head, I tied a knot, but this was very cumbersome. To find a solution where I could quickly connect the two ends of the cord, I searched for alternatives. You just need to apply a little force to connect the two pieces together. You won't be able to slide them in from the top. To detach the two pieces, use force again, but this time with a slight angle. It's similar to ripping a piece of paper apart. The STL file fits perfectly for a normal cotton cord you would find in a hoodie. This is a remix of Bluebie's Choker Clasp. I adjusted the OpenSCAD file so it has only one hole to support a bigger cord. There are variables available to set the size of the hole, the width, and the height of the object.
