I've updated a few parts to support switching push buttons and lithium-ion battery chargers. I also added space for magnets to securely hold the cap in place, using 20 x 6 x 2 mm Neodymium magnets. To charge the 18650 lithium-ion battery, I'm using a charger module available on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3pcs-5V-1A-Power-Bank-Charger-Module-Charging-Circuit-Board-Step-Up-Boost-Power-Module-Lithium/32822945810.html. I've removed the USB connector from the board, leaving only the Micro USB charging port. Update: The Arduino code used in this project is available on GitHub at https://github.com/asapir/FNGrenade.
