25 Common Vegetable SignsThese were designed for PETG FILAMENT (but PLA is fine off course). I've printed them out on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, and they print well. The sharpness of the end is reduced compared to the other models I've put up. The sharp ends seemed to cause issues with PETG filament printing.Size 100mm X 10mm X 1.2mmLAST layer prints the letters so use a different colour filament on that layer if you wish. The biggest challenge for these as they will be outdoors will be the heat of the sun. PLA will melt, bend, twist with sufficient heat. PETG is more resilient to heat and sun and will not bend.So the key points if you are going to use PLA are:Try placing them in the most shady spot.Stick them in as deeply as you can (without covering the letters) and vertically (rather then at an angle) into the soil.Increase the thickness in your slicer to 1.6, 1.8, 2.0mm or higher which should reduce any bending. Finally try using PETG filament which is more resistant to the sun and heat.REMEMBER If you use PLA and they do bend in the sun you can always bend them back by applying a little bit of heat. You might also not mind if they go a bit twisted, I personally don't mind at all.
