Common Dual Extruder Wire Loom Strain Relief

Common Dual Extruder Wire Loom Strain Relief

This part replaces the upper black plastic deck found on common MK10 Dual Extrusion printhead designs, like those used by FlashForge, PowerSpec, and Wanhao printers. Its purpose is to provide a strain relief for wire looms coming out of the printhead and prevent stiff thermocouple wires from flexing too much at sharp angles. These brittle wires can't be fixed once they break, requiring replacement and re-routing through long wire looms. I've had success with this design after experiencing issues caused by broken thermocouples on previous printers. Other versions of this part exist, but most were tailored to specific printer modifications. This design adheres strictly to stock OEM dimensions for filament entry points and screw holes. An added feature is an extra tall shoulder for feed tubes, reducing the likelihood of them kicking out or hanging loose. When printing this part, I recommend using PETg or ABS due to its exposure to heat from steppers, which can reach high temperatures. PLA's low softening temperature may cause it to deform under these conditions.
