Commodore VIC-20 Cartridge
thingiverse
I replicated the VIC-20 cartridge 'Raid on Fort Knox' and dedicated it to Elon Musk, a hero who learned programming on this device. I thank Jim Brain for the original cartridge and Ismail, Olga, and Niels for helping with label printing. Editing .scad file is essential; set EXT_WIDTH according to extrusion width, and ADDSUPPORT to 1 for manual support of internal clips. Check results using 'cut*' functions and convert to STL after slicing. Polish the print using sandpaper and plastic polish, like Xerapol, followed by silicone spray. I faced difficulties in printing two parts directly due to overhang, so I cut them into halves, glued with ABS juice, but had trouble removing seams during polishing. Tips are welcome for handling air bubbles in the glue.
