This is the key component that keeps the Commodore MPS-803's print head firmly positioned on the belt. Its detailed rendering is crucial for optimal performance. The design shown above represents my most effective approach to printing this part with an FDM printer, yielding precise results. I used PLA as the primary material for the print. A comparison photo shows the original component alongside its 3D-printed counterpart. This side-by-side assessment highlights the accuracy of the print. After testing the printed part on an older print head holder and belt, I found it to be a perfect fit. Its functionality was thoroughly tested during printing (not by me), demonstrating that it securely holds the print head in place without any issues even after extended use.
