thingiverse
I am working on a kit to install a Pandora videogame board inside a Commodore C64 that I saved from the landfill garbage just in time. Project progress: - 0.1 Video ports adapter completed - 0.2 Joystick ports implemented using a 15-pin D-SUB connector, allowing for connection of all useful Jamma pins: GND, settings, coin, 1p start, 2p start, up, down, left, right, fire1, fire2, fire3, fire4, fire5, and fire6 - 0.3 Internal 12V power supply installed using a 4A 12V power supply removed from a broken LCD monitor; two supports were created to secure it in place, and a cover was made for the memory expansion hole to prevent finger contact with 230V - 0.4 Improved video port adapter implemented, as described in the V2 file - 0.5 A cover designed to install audio out and RGB out connectors in the cassette hole; normal jack connectors were used for audio and a 9-pin D-SUB connector was used for RGB due to limited space; SCART cable schematics were found online and attached - 0.6 Cover created for the user port hole, matching the design of the memory expansion cover, with an option to install a hidden microswitch for Pandora setup - 0.7 Internal cabling completed, as described in the attached PDF document - 0.8 Keyboard backlight implemented using the caps-lock key as the light switch - 0.9 Custom joypad designed with 4 directional buttons, 6 fire buttons, 1p start, 2p start, and coin; inspired by the PSP1000 for weight and dimensions - 1.0 Fully functional joystick created with 6 fire buttons, 1p start, 2p start, and coin
