One of the plungers of my keyboard broke down. I suspect I'm not the only one and I assume it's usually the top cross that snaps from the plunger. This part is designed to repair the plunger instead of replacing it. Keeping the unique feel that the plunger gives when pressing the key. How it works: After printing, drill a hole of 4mm in the top of the plunger where the cross broke off. This is where this adapter comes in. Insert the printer adapter into the hole, making sure to face the rounded side of the adapter towards you. I used super glue to secure the adapter in place, but only after ensuring that the height of the key was correct. To make room for the adapter, I sanded down the plunger by 1 or 2mm because it wouldn't fit otherwise. The key with the broken part still attached needs to be cleared out. I simply pressed the part further through the opening until there was enough space. Assembling it to the keyboard plate was a breeze, just like installing a regular key and plunger. My "2" key had broken, but since I wasn't sure how well this fix would work, I decided to use the repaired plunger on the Pound key instead. It gets less usage than my 2 key. I printed the adapter using blue filament, which was already available in the printer. The color doesn't matter since you won't see it unless you take it apart.
