ATTENTION! Due to a snug fit, stem damage may occur in some cases. Use at your discretion. I recently acquired a C64 keyboard module for keycap harvesting, but most adapters were pretty subpar (tried 2 different ones and neither worked) or lacked 1.5u and 2u support. So I created my own. Now there are both 1.5u 2-stem and 2u 3-stem (non-stab) designs available. Unfortunately, I won't be using stabs on 2u keys. Fortunately, I included the necessary files so anyone can customize them to fit their needs. If you have 2 switches for 2u keys, you can use the other as a dummy switch. The outer 2 stems are spaced like two switches side by side. There are 2 different switch types: normal and speed. Speed switch models are slightly shallower due to their shorter travel distance, which means they won't reach the bottom on normal switches. Normal models are .5mm higher to accommodate full travel. These adapters won't bind like some other designs I found because of their slim profile. The fits in the files are quite loose, but with a .4 nozzle, the printed fit should be just right. After printing, make finishing touches to the cruciform and bottom rim using a hobby knife. NOTICE: If you're using a resin printer or a smaller nozzle, modify the files accordingly. Both STEP and .stl files are available for your convenience.
