A First Attempt at Creating a Replacement Key for the Commodore 64. The Result Exceeds Expectations, but Some Tweaks Are Needed. I'm Sharing This Work-in-Progress to Gather Feedback and Suggestions. Future Models Will Be Added Once I'm Satisfied with This Initial Design. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.06 mm Infill: 100% Notes: Used Ultimaker PLA with auto-generated PVA supports and raft. The Next Version Will Be Optimized for Single-Material Printing. How I Designed This Key Replacement. I Used Manual Modeling in Rhino, Based on Precise Measurements of an Original C64C £-sign key Taken with a Vernier Caliper. Pictures: Halfway Through the Print Process. The Job Is Complete. Fits Better Than Expected, Still Requires Some Fine-Tuning. Perhaps Some Sanding Will Be Necessary.
