Commodore 64 Logo
thingiverse
This is the Commodore 64 logo, just like it was emblazoned on those retro breadbin silver labels. It's illuminated and requires a bit of soldering know-how. It breaks down into three key components. The face plate is carefully crafted with the iconic Commodore 64 logo in mind. The illuminated body is printed from transparent PLA with a whopping 100% infill - that's crucial for optimal performance. It's slightly smaller, so it'll slide through the cutouts of the face plate with ease. Two LEDs and their corresponding current limiting resistors do the trick when it comes to illumination. The reflector can be printed using a layer height of just 0.2mm with white PLA. It significantly boosts brightness and serves as a stand-off for a custom-printed circuit board (where you'll find the LEDs and resistors). Adding an aluminum foil layer between the transparent part and the reflector gives it an extra performance boost.
