Commodore 64 cartridge case

This Thing is really kind of a (very late) response to someone who wanted a version of Makerboost's C64 cartridge case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:692797) without the central hole/post, as I needed one also.

More specifically, I needed something to fit an old Turbo232 cartridge (which aside from the hole for the DB-9 connector at the back, uses no central screw. I also added a hole on top to make room for the board's jumpers). The result seems to fit my Turbo232 board well, at least. Not perfect, but better than a bare board. :-)

I've included both variants as described above, based on the "Embossed" version of the original model. Each variant's two halves are contained in one STL (use your slicer's "split" or similar function to break them apart).

Print instructions

Licence: Creative Commons - Attribution Category: Electronics Print Settings

Printer Brand: RepRap

Printer: Prusa i3

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2 mm

Infill: 15%
