<p>This model is based on another model from Thingiverse, but doesn't seem to be available anymore.</p><p>This one tries to fix all issues with that other model and make it work better for FDM printing.</p><p>I don't claim any rights to this model. Still, I wanted to provide a “fixed” version to the flawed model that's floating around. I hope this leads to fewer failed prints and to less wasted material.</p><figure class="image image-style-align-left image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/281916/rich_content/7d1e5caa-db96-42fe-9f95-3f4d474d951b/mismatch.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22bc10ac08-3913-45c8-a787-9365ae9a9ad7%22%2C%22w%22%3A588%2C%22h%22%3A516%7D"></figure><p> </p><p>One problem with the “original” model was, that the bottom and top shell didn't really fit.</p><p><br> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Also, it was adapted to use screw inlets instead of bottom and top shell just being sticked into each other.</p><p>There's multiple ways to print and assemble this, so <strong>you don't have to download and print all the available STL files</strong>.</p><h4>Bottom Shell</h4><p>The bottom shell can be printed in two different ways. This has more stability, but the RF shield won't fit.</p><p> </p><h4> </h4><h4> </h4><h4> </h4><p>The holes for the screws will be filled. You'll need to open them with your favorite rotary tool. This is because the FDM-Print will be much cleaner this way - without the need for support structures.</p><h4>Top Shell</h4><p>You can either print this as one whole piece (requiring Supports to be printed), or as two pieces (requiring some glueing).</p><p> </p><p>The screw inlets are modelled for M3 screws.</p>
