<p>This is just a rework of the predecessor. I had support printing issues with the original design so I split it up to be glued together later.</p> <h3> How I Designed This</h3> <p>I redid the same customizer the previous thing did, but with no hole in it.<br/> I then hacked up some OpenSCAD just to create the little peg/hole on each part</p> <p>I then subtracted out the screw hole locally using MeshMixer and a bolt of the correct size (bolt2.stl).</p> <p>Now, depending on how your printer prints,<strong>you may need to adjust the hole</strong>.<br/> If you need to, edit bolt2.stl and scale it in the X/Y direction ONLY so that the threads remain the correct height. Then, subtract that bolt out of the "handle part no hole.stl" file.</p> <p>I'd recommend trying a small cylinder a few times to get things dialed in before wasting your time printing the whole tap handle.</p> Category: Other
