Unveiling my design for the Commel Europlug power strip contest, I focused on creating a visually appealing and functional casing. With smooth contours to prevent dust accumulation, I added a cable guide at the backside of the casing for tidy cord management. Adhering to Commel's low-cost philosophy, my design avoids unnecessary parts and modularity. Crucially, it maintains compatibility with existing internal power strip components. My submission falls within the contest's size limitations and received an Honorable Mention among 242 entries. Copyright © 2013 Krista Casal.
