I designed these alternative order tokens for Kill Team because cumbersome cardboard tokens were a major obstacle for me. To improve them, I simplified the icons on each side so they work at a smaller scale. The file is a 16mm cube, but I opted to print mine at 12mm size instead. I printed these prototypes in black PLA and then painted the white icons onto them. To finish my paint job, I lightly sanded the sides to clean up any imperfections and smooth out the surface for the photos. Credit goes to TheThiefMaster for inspiring this design. I was also influenced by some laser etched dice I'd seen for sale, but I wanted to put my own unique spin on the iconography.
