The stock filament sensor mount will allow the sensor to be destroyed by abrasive filament. This mount fixes the position of the sensor to align the sensor with the extruder entrance, and uses a McMaster 96977A129 drill bushing to guide the filament into the sensor. This helps the sensor and extruder last longer.Pause the print at the correct location and you can drop M3 nuts into the part for attaching the sensor and the bracket in their stock mounting holes.
