The original design proved itself to be very effective, but I sought to simplify the printing process and usability. To achieve this, I created a flexible hinge that allows the clip to open slightly before use, and added a knob at the end for easier opening. The fact that it can now be printed as a single piece is an added benefit. Tight tolerances are crucial, so scaling the STL files may not yield optimal results. This revised design prints well with PLA, but I highly recommend using PETG for its ability to maintain its shape. Although PETG is more flexible and doesn't grip as tightly, it's still a solid choice. ABS would also be suitable if your printer is properly heated.
