Comet 67P C-G improved high resolution model from ESA's Rosetta mission
thingiverse
I enhanced a 3D shape model of Comet 67P C-G, which Rosetta mission visited in 2014. I sourced the obj file from Mattias Malmer, yielding more detail than public models provided by ESA. The model also correctly aligns with orientation. Note that details on the dark side of the comet may still be limited due to a lack of available data. In the future, improved resolution is expected once additional information becomes available. http://mattias.malmer.nu/2014/12/new-shapemodel/ Instructions: Extract the obj file from Mattias and use it with Blender software to export an stl file. My PP3DP printer was able to directly print the model after adjusting its size.
