Earmuffs safeguard human ears by shielding them from hazardous sounds; two designs cater to different masks, with one type suited for disposable and medical masks featuring longer loops that hook onto these types of masks efficiently. The homemade variety has shorter loops and stiffer elastic, making it ideal for straps-style masks. These fast-printing earmuffs can be produced in large quantities using a 220x220 bed, allowing nine units to be printed simultaneously. With a Volcano 0.8mm nozzle on an Anet A8 printer, a batch of these earmuffs can be printed every twenty minutes.
