Combine Harvester with Corn Head
thingiverse
I modified the head design and main body design to fit the new header, which uses dividers that can be removed and should move smoothly. Printing lots of dividers will give you a better idea of how they work together. The new auger is designed to move once installed, allowing for smoother operation. While I'm not completely satisfied with all the changes yet, it's definitely an improvement over previous versions. If there's one thing that sums up this combine harvester design, it's that it's a work in progress. A few hours of work went into creating this initial design, and it will likely require several more revisions before it's complete. I'd love to incorporate parts powered by drive wheels, gears, and chains in future updates. I'm open to hearing feedback from users on what changes or additions would make this print better. Please keep in mind that tolerances are a bit tight in some areas, so you may need to do some sanding to get the pieces to fit together properly. This project also requires some glue to hold everything in place. When referring to part names, I use an American perspective - "passenger side" means left when facing forward, just like driver's side on a car. This design was roughly based on the John Deere S690 combine harvester, but since I don't have one of those at my disposal, I relied on internet images as reference.
