Combination square holder (under desk/shelf)
thingiverse
I wanted to mount some of my most commonly used tools on the underside of a hydraulic table that I just put together. Seeing as I use a combination square a lot for the layout and setup of projects, it was one of the tools I wanted quick access to. This was specifically designed to be used with a Swanson 12" combination square with the scribe missing/removed. I did not realize I had lost mine, and designed this to work with my square that no longer has it. I attached this to the bottom of the my table with a couple of button head sheet metal screws and if the fit is too tight, you might need to use a washer or two to create some clearance between the square and the bottom of the table. There is also a spot for a 1/2" x 1/4" neodymium magnet to be added for additional retention (though it may not be necessary, as the fit is pretty snug as is). Like with all of my designs, this was created in inches, so if it shows up tiny in your slicing software, you will need to multiply the scale by 25.4 to convert mm to inches. Let me know what you think and post those makes!
