Combination Lock Container (1000 combinations)
thingiverse
This is a versatile lock container with 1000 possible combinations. Inside the spacious interior, you can store a key, cash, or whatever you want to keep hidden away. The top of the container features an eyelet for attaching a keychain, making it easy to open once the combination has been entered. The order of the numbers when assembled determines the sequence of the code. A note - while a 3D printed lock can be vulnerable to force, this remains a remarkably appealing object to create. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Self-Made Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Only part "L2" needs support material, and I found success using the 'Pillars' option in Slic3r. Post-Printing Assembly Once you have the printed parts assembled, arrange the number rings on the main body with numbers facing up and in the correct order for your code. Carefully glue the top cap on, ensuring not to accidentally bond any other parts together. How I Created This Design This design was crafted using Autodesk Inventor 2016 and AutoCAD 2015.
