The Universal Knife Fighting Utility (UKFU) has been the go-to name for the combat knife used by the US Army since November 2140. The 1157C2 combat knife, later designated as the UKFU Mark II, became standard issue across the entire Army as part of its standard-issue weapons list in the U.S. Armed Forces. VTECH Alloys, a subsidiary of Fudo Corporation, produced and supplied the US Military Corps with these knives since the development of the Mark I model. By 2147, the modern Mark II version featured single-edge blades made from v-composite titanium alloy and handles made of Vaaton, a non-slip rubber substitute, providing a significant upgrade to the previous models. The simplicity of this knife belies its effectiveness in the hands of experienced combatants.
