BM - AVC1, is an articulated model of a mechanical combat biped rescued from abandonment, a design I elaborated in 2011 influenced by video games, anime and sci-fi movies in its development, but brought back to life in digital format for the world of 3d printing. I opted to use screws for the main joints, as that way you control the stiffness of each joint to your liking. I used 1/8" stovebolt screws, but you can probably use metric 3 Philips head screws. I have included a guide where this and other points are specified in more detail. You will need four small pieces of 1.75x55 mm flexible TPU filament for the hoses that sit between the legs and feet, I personally recycled some similar sized cables for this purpose. Virtually one hundred percent of the parts are snapped and screwed together, the only exception being a pair of light fixtures in the model's cockpit that must be glued. I have grouped the parts together for three- to four-hour print sessions, but you can modify them as you like since I include the loose parts in zip format with their respective identification codes. The laminator program I have used is PrusaSlicer. I hope you enjoy this design very much.
