Abstract

This project allows you to create a customizable comb. The comb has rounded spikes to prevent injuries and has proven to be quite durable - even with PLA.

The project came from a dissatisfaction with the durability and price of the combs in my supermarket.

The customizable Tag makes this one good for families, too. This way, no one will confuse the different brooms, and you won't have to clear out other people's hair from your broom any longer :).

Instructions

Download OpenScad from https://openscad.org/downloads.html

Download the “Kamm_Model_M_Flat.scad” file

Open the file with Openscad and put the respective text into the question marks at the top:

// Tag on the comb tag = "John Doe";

press f6 to render the file and f7 to export it as an STL

Open the Stl file with a slicer like Prusa Slicer and print it

Further Customization

Thickness:

the variable you need to change it the file is

bb_d = 3.4;

on the 14th line.
