The statues carved onto this Roman column tomb depict Dionysus, prominent in the center, along with his lively troupe of maenads who dance and play music - a satyr and Pan included. They proudly stand atop plinths, elegantly framed by arcades that rest securely on Corinthian pilasters. Other similar tombs were crafted in Rome, directly inspired by models from Asia Minor.
