A telescopic crane-inspired lifting device supports structural beams during column repairs. Operated by two people, it's easily unloaded from a vehicle, assembled near the site, then rolled into position. The device features manual forklift wheels for autonomous movement; no forklifts needed. Upon reaching the correct height, safety pins secure and level screws level it. A hydraulic bottle jack lifts the load for safe repairs. Disassembly or relocation is simple post-repair. Load and moment calculations were performed using Autodesk Robot FEA simulations and AutoCAD Mechanical, aided by previous steel structure experience.
