A Colt Walker replica prop is available for download from Thingiverse. The cylinder can rotate, while the hammer and trigger are movable. However, some form of spring must be added to make it functional. This remix was created due to difficulties encountered when working with the original design. Some parts were out of alignment, making it challenging to set them orthogonal and split them for printing purposes. To simplify printing, certain parts have been split into multiple components that can be glued together. For example: * Colt_Walker_Revolver_03 requires two separate prints: one normal print and one mirror image print, which are then joined. * Colt_Walker_Revolver_09 consists of three pieces that must be assembled using the provided alignment holes. Note that Colt_Walker_Revolver_14 is not missing; it has simply been omitted from the design. For optimal results, print at 0.2 layer height or lower for smaller parts. Use supports only when necessary, as most parts do not require them. A 30% infill and a wall thickness of 1.2mm are sufficient for most components. Post-printing processes include sanding and applying spray filler to smooth out the surfaces. Once satisfied with the result, use an airbrush to paint the parts black and brass colors. A dry brush can be used to apply silver highlights to the edges.
