Another iconic piece, a Colt M1911 pistol meticulously crafted to mirror its WW1 counterpart, with authentic heavy weathering that tells a story of its own. Building upon the expertise gained from the sniper rifle project, I embarked on refining my hard surface modeling and PBR texturing skills with this undertaking, which streamlined the workflow by focusing solely on Blender and Substance Painter. To further optimize efficiency, I researched, gathered, and developed several add-ons that significantly simplified the process. By doing so, I successfully reduced the completion time to a mere 20 hours, achieving an exceptionally satisfying outcome that truly exceeded my personal expectations.
