Retromax's can be purchased here: https://circuitgizmos.com/gizmo-store/RetroMax-CGs-Color-Maximite-2-p241231864 Instructions for FDM printers (see included example orientation picture): - Print the top of the case face down on the build plate. - Print the bottom of the case back down (i.e. ports down) on the build plate. - Print the buttons with the of the button on the build plate. - Print the washers. - Examples in the photos were printed in PLA at 0.18 mm layer height, using a 0.4 mm nozzle on a Flashforge Adventurer 3. To assemble: - If your Retromax came in a case with a front, remove it very carefully so as not to damage the LEDs or anything else attached to the front of the Retromax case. - After printing, make sure all of the holes in the front case, the ports and the side firmware button hole are clear of any extra plastic or stringing. - Make sure the SD card has enough clearance to fit through the rectangular hole in the front. - Mount the retromax PCB on the four raised PCB mounts in the bottom of the case. Usually it's easiest to put the board in at an angle so that the VGA connector goes into its port first, then rotate the board down onto the mounts. - Use M2 x 12 mm machine screws and bolts with the printable washers to secure the board into the bottom of the case. - Put the printed power button and reset buttons into the front of the case. Securing them with small pieces of heat tape after they're in the front of the case makes the rest of the case installation easier. - With the top of the case tilted at about 45 degrees from the bottom, hook the clip on the bottom-front of the case over the slot on the bottom of the case. - Carefully rotate the top of the case onto the bottom of case, making sure the ridges that run along the inside of the case top are aligned to be inside of the side walls of the case bottom. - Make sure the micro SD card is aligned with the rectangular hole on the front of the case. - Snap the top into the bottom, starting at the front of the case and working back. - Snap the rear, triangular wedges into the slots along the back of the case. That's it, you're done!
