The colossal statue of Ramesses II stands proudly at around 10 meters long, carved into the stone of limestone and now a centerpiece within the Mit Rahina museum or ancient Memphis. This incredible work of art was unearthed in 1820 by Giovanni Caviglia near the south gate of Ptah's temple adjacent to the larger colossus of Ramesses II. Initially gifted to the British Museum by Mohammad Ali, however, it proved a considerable challenge to relocate the massive sculpture. The 3D model was generated from an extensive collection of 409 photographs captured in just 11 minutes with a Sony A6000 camera. The data processing was accomplished using Photoscan Pro and Meshlab software, whereupon it was decimated. For the benefit of others, this processed dataset will be uploaded to both Github and Google Drive repositories. Utilizing medium settings during processing yielded an undecimated model with 5 million faces.
