Colored boat switch covers/
thingiverse
Purpose -------- These colorful coded switches are designed specifically for Blue Sea Systems A-Series Toggle switches on a boat switch panel. To assemble, simply snap two printed covers onto a switch. The friction-lock mechanism holds securely, but a small amount of holding glue can be used if needed. Tips ---- Before printing these custom covers, ensure that your 3D Printer and Extruder are properly calibrated. For best results, print a single cover first and test its fit against a real switch. If the fit is off, adjust your printer's calibration settings as necessary. To achieve the perfect snugness, try adjusting the extrusion rate: increase it by 10% if the fit is too loose, or decrease it by 10% if it's too tight. Use pliers with moderate force to further refine the fit. With each new filament brand, you may need to adjust your printing settings, including temperature. License ------- **Note**: This design is available for non-commercial use only, and cannot be modified or sold without permission. If you'd like to create a derivative work or sell these custom covers, please contact me to discuss possible arrangements. I've made this design accessible to boaters who want to print their own custom switch covers.
