Test of dual-color printing with a single extruder involves a multi-step process. First, print the base material at a 0.2mm layer height using a skirt to prime the nozzle before adding any colors. This step sets the foundation for the finished product. Next, remove the initial filament and load the secondary color. Once this is done, carefully lift off the skirt from the build plate, leaving only the base material exposed. Now it's time to print the overlay at the same 0.2mm layer height as before. This second layer of material will wrap around and over the existing base, fusing the two colors together into a cohesive whole.
