This 3D model originated from a sketch created with Sketchup 8 before being converted into numerous formats. Native format is .skp while the 3dsmax scene was created using 3ds Max 2016, rendered with Vray 3.00 A colonial-style saltbox house, heavily influenced by classic styles yet featuring distinct storybook elements on the porch and front windows, has been modelled here. The home boasts a sloping roof in the rear, a signature feature of saltbox homes. Many thanks go to Bob1938 for supplying the initial home shell and allowing me to craft a detailed floor plan. With its design echoing a doll's house aesthetic, this house was rebuilt from scratch with a focus on accuracy, maintaining many original elements while updating the porch for modernity. Storybook-style columns were preserved. At the back lies a shed dormer. Now, entering inside we find ourselves in a spacious living room which seamlessly transitions into a flex room. Beyond these spaces lies an eat-in kitchen and a dedicated laundry room boasting an ironing board cabinet! Further features include a step-in pantry, powder room, a dining room upfront, and a discreet basement door nestled under the stairs. Conveniently located under the stairs is a coat closet.
