I crafted a Colonel Wasp Firefly shell that achieves identical velocity (around 200 FPS) as molded shells. This design also enables rear loading of the dart, proving to be highly effective when loaded about one-quarter inch (roughly six millimeters) from the bottom of the shell for consistent and optimal velocity. I print my designs at 100% infill with no supports or brim at a layer thickness of 0.2 millimeters.
