Collimator Holographic Weapon Sight Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
This artistic model was initially created using 3ds Max 2012 and xNormal before being rendered in Unreal Engine 4.15 and Marmoset. It follows the PBR metalness workflow and is suitable for use in games or real-time presentations. The model features correct Picatinny mount, allowing it to be used as an attachment on weapons. There are three different skins available: black, olive, and digital urban. The Unreal Engine 4 version comes with a specific archive (***_UE4.rar) that can be directly imported into the Unreal Project/Content folder. In Unreal Engine, use the item from the '\Props\BP_*' folder, which includes an unreal blueprint setup allowing players to change aiming marks by pressing '3' on the keyboard. For use in Unity, the model can achieve similar render results using the included texture maps, but the user must repack the maps according to Unity's Metalness shader and manually invert the green channel of the normal map. The 3ds Max source file contains only geometry (2 LODs), collision mesh, UVs, and smoothing groups. It includes correctly named objects and assigned materials but does not have textures assigned to avoid texture duplication when exporting files to other formats like FBX. The model's blueprint setup works exclusively in Unreal Engine 4 and does not contain any rig in the 3ds Max source file. The model features LODs (2) and a collision mesh, with LOD0 consisting of 1,278 triangles, 703 vertices, and LOD1 comprising 850 triangles and 487 vertices. There are two materials, one UV layout (with an additional lightmap layout in the Unreal project), padding set up for a minimum of 8 pixels, three main texture maps (Albedo, Packed - Metalness, Roughness, AO; Normals), three additional unpacked texture maps (Metalness, Roughness, Ambient Occlusion), all textures are 2K and in TGA format. The Unreal archive already has the LODs bound, and the model consists only of triangles and quads with no ngons. It is fully unwrapped and built to real-world scale in centimeters, measuring (length, width, height): 10 x 5 x 6.5 cm.
