3/18/2019 - After getting several requests to clean up things a bit, I've made it available via Fusion360 sharing. You can now download your own version if you'd like to play with it! Check it out here. 1/19/2017 - You asked for customization options and got them! Two new base types have been added for personalization: one with a blank face and another with a cutout and blank plate. If you want to create your own parameterized plate, remake the plate from a block .5" deep by 5.8675" wide by 13" tall. Note: Version 2 is now live! Look for the V2 files for an even more accurate print. A rough model of the College Football Playoff Trophy has been created using approximate dimensional matching to get angles and distances right. With few to no other models available, this is the best I could do. If anyone has a better model or knows how to do dimensional matching well, please take it on in a remix! The current version was designed for single-color printers and prints in 4 parts that need to be pieced together. If you want a solid model or one optimized for multi-extrusion printers, leave a note in the comments. The STL files are supposed to match the original size, though there's some debate about whether the measurements quoted by the committee refer to just the top part or the whole trophy including the base. The overall trophy should be roughly proportional either way. The example print shown is at 25% scale. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: Example printed at .2mm. Can be printed on either flat face assuming good bed adhesion. If printing on the larger flat faces, supports may be necessary.
