Hey drummers, tired of running to the music store to grab new sticks when you break them? Save gas, time, and money by printing them yourself. I printed the tip and handle on their side for added strength. To prevent warping and lifting off the print deck, I used a raft instead of a brim. Printing them standing up gives the sticks numerous shear points. I highly recommend printing the splice piece standing upright so there are no supports inside. It holds together just fine. I printed using PLA with layers at 0.250mm and a matching raft. The walls are 1mm thick, featuring four loops.
