At the Wanger Family Fab Lab in Chicago where I work, we have a state-of-the-art set up for 3D scanning people and printing them from the shoulders up. Being the perfectionist I am, I wanted to push boundaries further by creating a full body scale model of myself. To achieve this, I will be using a Microsoft Xbox Kinect in conjunction with ReconstructMe, and documenting my progress on Thingiverse. If you'd like a miniature version of me (who wouldn't?), feel free to download an STL file and print it out! I aim for 1/8th scale whenever possible, but some build envelopes may not accommodate this size.
