Collapsing Darksaber

Collapsing Darksaber

thingiverse

I threw together this remixed Collapsing Darksaber from 3DPRINTINGWORLD's original Collapsing Katana design. The Grip halves and Core were printed with precision, using a resolution of 0.2mm, a speed of 50mm/s, four walls, and an infill percentage of 15%. The Blade segments were printed in vase/spiral mode at a resolution of 0.2mm, a line width of 0.8mm, a speed of 20mm/s, and with no bottom layers. To assemble this striking sword, simply fit the blade into the core and insert it inside the grips. Secure the grips together using glue. A clever touch: there's some extra space in the lower part of the design - perhaps someone will remix it to include a light at the base.
