Collapsible Shot Glass - Holds Liquid!
thingiverse
A novice in Inventor, I attempted making my first printable item as a learning experience. After printing, plastic wastage on cups ceased temporarily. The collapsible cup, when expanded, reaches around 1.5 inches height, but folds down to less than 3/4 inch size – similar to a shot glass. It prints as one piece, though the bottom edge requires post-print cleanup. The handle is quite fragile; an improved version will likely have a sturdier handle. Printed with a Replicator. No raft or support is required during printing since the model contains all necessary supports. However, Thing-O-Matic users might need to scale up the print to ensure it prints solidly due to close cup walls. Remember, for a leak-proof result, print the item solidly.
