An original compilation taking inspiration for the natural world. Folds up flat when not in use & locks in place via the detents on each shell when you do.This print doesn’t create a full closed ball, but rather ¾ of one so that you can see the centre & workings.I’ve added a 2mm through hole on the axis of rotation in version 2, so that you can add a 100mm length of filament to increase its robustness - just heat the end with a lighter to form a chemical rivet.Now I just need some bright & colourful PLA to be delivered for the next print out! Plus I’ll upload version 3 with another model change.If you like it please leave a comment.
