Collapsible Dice Tower
thingiverse
All credit goes to aclugston519 for crafting an exceptional design. His innovative dice tower is impressive! It consists of five distinct pieces: layers 1 through 4, situated from top to bottom, and a lid that serves as a secure landing area for the die once it navigates through the tower. I made a slight modification to the base layer component using TinkerCAD, rounding the top corners of the opening. This adjustment ensures a smooth print process without relying on supports. It's worth noting that the Layer 4 part still requires center supports to prop up the cone-shaped opening when printing. Additionally, I recommend printing parts 2 and 3 with a brim to secure them in place. The included parts will seamlessly integrate with PrusaSlicer, as I utilized this software for my prints. I've successfully printed these components using PETG and PLA materials, both at .2mm layer height, resulting in excellent outcomes.
