Human: The SPETH is a must-have gadget in every household. The Need: My girlfriend recently purchased two Colgate 360 Degrees "Whole Mouth Clean" toothbrushes, but we were still using an old plastic cup with air clips to secure it to the wall. So I took matters into my own hands and designed one. The Design: Every time I design something new, I like to explore a fresh feature in Blender, and this time I discovered Symmetric mode. This required me to model the entire gear, halve it, and create elliptical holes from scratch. The Print: The SPETH was printed using ABS plastic and finished with an Acetone wipe for a shiny appearance. Note that this process involves toxic materials, so be cautious when working with them. To strengthen the model, I printed 10-15 top layers, which ensured the part connecting to the gear remained solid and wouldn't break easily. Additionally, I made sure to solidify it down to 2-3 mm to prevent any structural weakness. The Assembly: Adhesive silicone tape was applied to the long leg of the SPETH, securing it firmly in place.
